VSure and HEYDOC Health Introduce CareConnect Suite, Transforming SME Protection and Digital Healthcare in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Dec. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- In a move that reflects the shifting expectations of Malaysia's modern workforce, VSure Group and virtual healthcare provider HEYDOC Health have jointly launched CareConnect Suite, a new digital ecosystem aimed at closing long-standing gaps in employee benefits for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). VSure and HEYDOC Health Introduce CareConnect Suite, Transforming SME Protection and Digital Healthcare in Malaysia The foundation of CareConnect Suite is the combination of EzPA — VSure's uniquely curated, affordable and accessible PA protection with hospital income benefit — and FutureK, HEYDOC Health's digitally integrated outpatient care model. CareConnect Suite is part of VSure SME Pro, the company's broader initiative to strengthen protection and financial resilience for small businesses through simple and affordable digital solutions. VSure SME Pro was developed following VSure's recognition as the Malaysia winner of the UNDP–Generali Insurance Innovation Challenge 2024, which acknowledged the company's innovative approach to supporting SMEs. The partnership brings together two fast-growing players from Malaysia's insurtech and healthtech sectors. Their combined solution offers personal accident protection, hospitalisation income replacement, virtual doctor consultations, digital pharmacy services and nationwide medication fulfilment — all delivered through a single, connected platform. While employee benefit programmes have traditionally been dominated by large insurers and corporate medical providers, both companies believe that SMEs — which make up over 97% of all Malaysian businesses — have been largely left out of the conversation. A Growing Need Among Underserved SMEs Rising healthcare costs, talent competitiveness, and the growing prevalence of freelance and gig-based work have pushed SMEs to re-evaluate how they support their workers. Yet many smaller firms lack the resources to offer conventional medical benefits, which often come with high premiums, restrictive underwriting, and heavy administrative demands. VSure and HEYDOC Health say CareConnect Suite is designed to fill this gap with a more practical proposition: RM20 per employee per month Unlimited virtual healthcare Integrated protection and medication services Paperless onboarding "The majority of Malaysia's workforce sits within SMEs, but access to traditional employee benefits has not kept pace with their needs," said Eddy Wong, Co-Founder & CEO of VSure Group. "CareConnect Suite is our way of offering SMEs a realistic path forward — something affordable, something simple, and something that actually works for their teams." The solution also extends beyond employers. Freelancers, gig-workers, individuals and families can subscribe directly to the same ecosystem, mirroring global trends in personalised, digital-first healthcare. Where Protection Meets Virtual Healthcare What differentiates CareConnect Suite from typical insurer–telehealth tie-ups is the level of integration behind the scenes. A user can consult a doctor, receive an e-prescription, confirm medication fulfilment and activate protection benefits — all without switching platforms. For HEYDOC Health, which operates the FutureK hybrid care model, the partnership offers a channel to deliver affordable outpatient care at a wider scale. "This collaboration brings together digital-first insurance, hybrid outpatient care and drug-pricing optimisation in a transparent and cost-efficient manner," said Dr. Raymond Choy, CEO of HEYDOC Health. "It moves us closer to a healthcare environment that is inclusive, preventive and sustainable. We are excited to expand this partnership to more communities across Malaysia and beyond." A Step Forward for Malaysia's Digital Health and Insurtech Sectors Industry analysts note that Malaysia has seen rapid growth in telehealth and digital protection solutions, fuelled by pandemic-driven adoption and rising expectations for on-demand services. CareConnect Suite is one of the few offerings in the market that blends: protection, outpatient care, medication logistics, and digital onboarding into a single, SME-friendly package. The companies also believe the model can scale regionally, especially across markets where SMEs form the economic backbone and digital healthcare uptake is accelerating. About VSure Group VSure is a pioneer in digital, on-demand and embedded protection in Malaysia, offering micro-duration and accessible coverage for consumers, SMEs and enterprises. The company was recognised by UNDP as the Malaysia Insurance Innovation Challenge Fund Winner 2024 About HEYDOC Health HEYDOC Health is a leading digital health company in Malaysia, offering AI-powered healthcare infrastructure solutions including telehealth and electronic prescriptions (via DOC2US), smart drug formulary and pricing optimisation (via enSURE), and digital outpatient programs such as FutureK. Heydoc Health is committed to transforming healthcare delivery through technology, transparency, and trust. X-Design Takes #1 on Product Hunt with AI Agent That Democratizes Branding for Local Businesses

SYDNEY, Dec. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- X-Design, the AI branding platform built specifically for the brick-and-mortar economy, today announced it has achieved the #1 Product of the Day on Product Hunt. This milestone marks the launch of its new AI Agent, an autonomous design partner that enables cafés, fitness studios, and service providers to build and maintain a consistent, professional brand identity in minutes. While many AI tools focus on isolated tasks, X-Design's AI Agent creates a unified workflow powered by long-term contextual memory. It serves as an always-on brand manager, ensuring that everything from a shop's logo to its Instagram posts retains the brand's unique "Visual DNA" without requiring users to repeat themselves. Solving the "Visual Consistency" Struggle for SMBsBuilt on insights from over 500 beta users in retail, F&B, and wellness sectors, the Agent addresses the biggest challenge for small businesses: fragmentation. "Small business owners wear every hat, but 'Chief Design Officer' shouldn't have to be one of them," said Elvis, Founder of X-Design. "Reaching No. 1 on Product Hunt validates our belief that branding should be accessible to everyone. We aren't just generating logos; we are giving local shops a partner that remembers their specific style, tone, and preferences, effectively eliminating the need to 'brief' the designer every time they need a new asset." Key Capabilities Powering the Win1. A Full Brand System in Under 10 MinutesInstead of piecing together designs from different tools, users can chat with the AI Agent to generate a complete identity system, including unique logos, color palettes, and typography, in a single conversation. The AI instantly visualizes these elements on real-world mockups like storefront signage and packaging. In beta testing, this streamlined workflow allowed 92% of users to finalize a production-ready brand identity within just 10 minutes.2. The "Always-On" Brand ManagerOnce a brand is established, the Agent automatically saves all assets into a dynamic Brand Kit. This ensures that when a user requests a new asset, such as a holiday promo poster or a menu update, the system generates designs that strictly follow the stored brand guidelines without needing fresh instructions. This automated consistency helped beta users achieve 35% higher visual coherence across their marketing materials.3. Real-World Ready OutputAddressing the specific needs of physical businesses, the Agent produces files formatted for both digital screens and physical print. Korea's Startups Poised for a Landmark Season as COMEUP 2025 and CES 2026 Draw Near

SEOUL, South Korea, Dec. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Korea is preparing for a defining season in global innovation, as Seoul readies for COMEUP 2025—hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups—and Korean entrepreneurs mark final preparations for their annual journey to Las Vegas for CES 2026. The two stages signal the growing confidence of a startup community that has become one of the most visible, awarded, and closely followed in the world. Under the leadership of Minister Han Seong-sook, a former chief executive of NAVER, Korea's rise on the global innovation stage has been deliberate and sustained. A decade of investment, a maturing entrepreneurial culture, and renewed national focus on technology are reshaping the country's reputation – from a fast adopter to a consistent generator of world-class innovation. This progress is grounded in 30 years of the Special Act on the Promotion of Venture Businesses and 20 years of the Korea Fund of the Funds (KFoF), now one of Asia's most influential public investment vehicles supporting early-stage financing and private capital mobilization. Nowhere is this shift more visible than at CES, where Korean startups have earned an impressive share of Innovation Awards year after year. Their presence – once modest – is now among the largest national contingent at the show, spanning AI, mobility, digital health, green technology, robotics, smart home solutions, beauty tech, and next-generation devices. COMEUP 2025: Seoul's Annual Meeting of Ideas In Seoul, COMEUP has become a fixture of the last-autumn and early-winter calendar, drawing founders, researchers, investors, and policy leaders from around the world. What began as a domestic showcase has evolved into a regional benchmark for emerging technology, offering structured IR matchmaking with multinational companies, global accelerators, and cross-border venture funds. This year's event will attract thousands of participants from 46 countries and feature keynotes by Tareq Amin, CEO of Humain, and Sunghyun Park, CEO of Rebellions – reflecting COMEUP's growing influence in AI and advanced semiconductor innovation. The festival distinguishes itself from SWITCH and VivaTech through its strong public-private model, focus on investor-ready IR sessions, and record of elevating startups that later appear on global stages such as CES and MWC. The Road to Las Vegas: A Stage That Reshaped Korea's Startup Identity The journey from COMEUP in Seoul to CES in Las Vegas has become a meaningful progression for Korean founders, linking early-stage visibility at home with global exposure abroad. At CES 2026, Korea is preparing a substantial national delegation selected through national, regional, and sector-based programs. The K-Startup Pavilion – located in Eureka Park at the Venetian Park – will again serve as a gateway for Korean innovators to meet investors, buyers, global media, and multinational companies seeking next-generation technologies. Korea's strong performance at CES is reflected in consistent Innovation Award recognition across AI systems, digital therapeutics, robotics, autonomous and electric mobility, smart-home technologies, high-performance displays, green-energy solutions, and beauty-tech devices. These are sectors where Korean companies have demonstrated repeated global competitiveness. A Single Trajectory: Outward-Looking and Increasingly Bold While COMEUP and CES serve different purposes, they form a coherent narrative: Korea's startup ecosystem is maturing and broadening its horizons. COMEUP offer breadth – a view of Korea's creative energy at its earliest stages. CES offers sharp global exposure, where award-winning technologies stand alongside the world's most advanced innovations. Korea's innovation landscape is also becoming more international in reverse. Overseas startups are entering Korea through MSS programs, regulatory sandboxes, and corporate-led open-innovation initiatives. Seoul anchors many of these efforts, while regional centers are being strengthened to support international collaboration and market entry. A Defining Chapter for Korea's Innovation Story As 2025 concludes, Korean startups are securing global investment, entering new markets earlier, and advancing from experimental to commercial deployment in AI semiconductors, digital therapeutics, mobility, robotics, and green energy. Their trajectory – between COMEUP's stages and CES's vast exhibition halls – signals a community establishing a sustained international presence. If the recent trend is any indication, the message is clear: Korean startups are no longer emerging – they are making their presence more vivid in across global markets.
