HONG KONG SAR - Media OutReach Newswire - 11 September 2024 - The Hong Kong Jockey Club wrapped up its fourth and largest Philanthropy for Better Cities (PBC) Forum at West Kowloon Cultural District today (10 September). Nearly 100 eminent speakers and more than 2,000 delegates from 40 countries and regions joined the two-day event, including representatives of over 200 local, regional and global foundations. The PBC was convened by The Hong Kong Jockey Club's Charities Trust in association with the Institute of Philanthropy (IoP), a charitable organisation established by the Club and its Trust at the opening of the third PBC in September last year. The second day of the forum opened with a plenary session entitled “Launch of the Commission on Asian Philanthropy: The Asian Way of Giving: Unleashing the power of Asian philanthropy for a sustainable future.” The launch of the Commission on Asian Philanthropy was announced during this session. At the forum today, the launch of the Commission on Asian Philanthropy was announced in the first plenary session. The commission brings together influential philanthropic organisations as founding commissioners, including the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, IDEAS Dompet Dhuafa Republika, King Khalid Foundation, The Nippon Foundation, Piramal Foundation, Rainmatter Foundation, Tanoto Foundation, Tata Consultancy Services and Tencent Charity Foundation. As a three-year initiative co-convened by IoP and the Asia Philanthropy Congress ("APHIC"), the commission will define the scope and opportunity of Asian philanthropy and establish an 'in Asia, for Asia' ecosystem to advance the professionalisation of the philanthropic sector in the region and unleash Asian philanthropy's full potential for social good. Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, the Club's CEO and IoP Director, delivered the forum's closing address, echoing insights from forum speakers and underlining the importance of the Commission on Asian Philanthropy. "To fully leverage the collaborative power of philanthropy in Asia, this morning we launched the Commission on Asian Philanthropy. Convened by IoP and the Asia Philanthropy Congress and bringing 10 leading Asian foundations together, it aims to build an 'in Asia, for Asia' ecosystem and to expand the capacity of Asian practitioners. Crucially, it is committed to staying plural. There will be no one-size-fits-all. Rather, the intention is to learn from, and share, the rich diversity of Asian philanthropy." The overarching theme of PBC 2024 was "Delivering impactful philanthropy in the real world". As an aid to discussions, the IoP shared two specially commissioned reports: "Examining Trust and Measurement in Asian Philanthropy," a joint publication by IoP and McKinsey & Company; and "High-Impact Philanthropy: Giving Better across Asia and the World," produced by the Bridgespan Group. IoP also shared a special supplement on impact measurement produced in collaboration with the Stanford Social Innovation Review. The forum's first plenary session today was entitled "Launch of the Commission on Asian Philanthropy: The Asian Way of Giving: Unleashing the power of Asian philanthropy for a sustainable future." HONG KONG, Sept. 10, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hong Kong Jockey Club wrapped up its fourth and largest Philanthropy for Better Cities (PBC) Forum at West Kowloon Cultural District today (10 September). Nearly 100 eminent speakers and more than 2,000 delegates from 40 countries and regions joined the two-day event, including representatives of over 200 local, regional and global foundations. The PBC was convened by The Hong Kong Jockey Club's Charities Trust in association with the Institute of Philanthropy (IoP), a charitable organisation established by the Club and its Trust at the opening of the third PBC in September last year. At the forum today, the launch of the Commission on Asian Philanthropy was announced in the first plenary session. The commission brings together influential philanthropic organisations as founding commissioners, including the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, IDEAS Dompet Dhuafa Republika, King Khalid Foundation, The Nippon Foundation, Piramal Foundation, Rainmatter Foundation, Tanoto Foundation, Tata Consultancy Services and Tencent Charity Foundation. As a three-year initiative co-convened by IoP and the Asia Philanthropy Congress ("APHIC"), the commission will define the scope and opportunity of Asian philanthropy and establish an "in Asia, for Asia" ecosystem to advance the professionalisation of the philanthropic sector in the region and unleash Asian philanthropy's full potential for social good. Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, the Club's CEO and IoP Director, delivered the forum's closing address, echoing insights from forum speakers and underlining the importance of the Commission on Asian Philanthropy. "To fully leverage the collaborative power of philanthropy in Asia, this morning we launched the Commission on Asian Philanthropy. Convened by IoP and the Asia Philanthropy Congress and bringing 10 leading Asian foundations together, it aims to build an "in Asia, for Asia" ecosystem and to expand the capacity of Asian practitioners. Crucially, it is committed to staying plural. There will be no one-size-fits-all. Rather, the intention is to learn from, and share, the rich diversity of Asian philanthropy." The overarching theme of PBC 2024 was "Delivering impactful philanthropy in the real world". As an aid to discussions, the IoP shared two specially commissioned reports: "Examining Trust and Measurement in Asian Philanthropy," a joint publication by IoP and McKinsey & Company; and "High-Impact Philanthropy: Giving Better across Asia and the World," produced by the Bridgespan Group. IoP also shared a special supplement on impact measurement produced in collaboration with the Stanford Social Innovation Review. The forum's first plenary session today was entitled "Launch of the Commission on Asian Philanthropy: The Asian Way of Giving: Unleashing the power of Asian philanthropy for a sustainable future." It featured a panel discussion between Her Highness Princess Nouf bint Muhammad AlSaud, CEO of King Khalid Foundation; Ichiro Kabasawa, Executive Director of The Nippon Foundation; Dr Gabriel Leung, the Club's Executive Director of Charities and Community and IoP Director; Haryo Mojopahit, Managing Director of IDEAS Dompet Dhuafa Republika; Aditya Natraj, CEO of Piramal Foundation; and Beili Shen, Vice Chairperson of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation. 本文由OPEN編輯部撰寫 往昔實事求是的異業經歷，造就 崢嶸設計 廖崢、廖嶸 設計師 對案場結構的敏銳觀察和講究品質的慎密，偕同兩人獨樹一幟的美學素養，塑造崢嶸設計精鍊踏實且精緻優美的作品風貌；本次專題以現今舊屋件買氣興起的趨勢為核心，結合廣受各業界關注的AI議題，一舉探究團隊如何活用對工程、科技熟悉的優勢，拓展品牌於老屋翻新業務方面的優良名聲！ （圖）崢嶸設計作品《山嵐晨光》，整體以案名「山嵐晨光」為主題，運用淺色大理石紋表現清晨薄霧的朦朧色彩，輔以間接照明象徵和煦晨曦，盡展高山中霧嵐瀰漫的自然美景。 細察市場變動 分析箇中緣由 「其實不難發現，近年台灣房地產有幾項特點，導致中古屋物件的關注度與日俱增。」廖崢、廖嶸總監單刀直入，依循平日對業界市場的縝密觀察，娓娓細說自身見解：「首先，台灣的土地資源本就稀缺，建築及裝修的相關法規又相當嚴謹，使得新建案的行情逐年攀升。」全新的物件固然具有吸引人之處，然而對於現今較多的獨居、少人數家庭組成，某些具備周邊生活機能、且價格親民的中古屋更容易受到青睞。 「購買中古屋的人遞增，老屋翻新的案例自然就變多了。」兩位總監接著提到，相較新成屋，中古屋無可避免地會有屋況老舊、結構補強、水電配置調整的問題，且受到今年（西元2024年）0403地震的影響，以居家安全為導向的翻修委託也增加許多，「再加上政府持續推動的都市更新計畫、維護或購屋屋主們對家的個性化需求，皆是促進全面或局部翻修的推手；至於如何迅速因應時代所需，提升並完善居住品質，便成為我們室內裝修公司的課題。」 （圖）崢嶸設計作品《La Galerie NO.24》，公領域以極簡淨白作為襯底，綴搭塗抹紅、藍等鮮明色彩的藝術畫作，展現繽紛靈動的居家氛圍；私領域則轉為穩重的石紋及灰韻，予以使用者寧謐酣眠場域。 整合工程設計 完善翻新需求 前述提及的中古屋購買風氣、老屋翻新的盛行，同樣影響到兩人經營的崢嶸設計，總監們表示，近期團隊承接的中古屋翻修比例日益趨增，而當中大多數的客群如同兩位所分析，多以膝下無子的雙薪家庭──頂客族為主。「這類業主通常很有想法，偏好風格強烈和高功能性的生活環境，因此我們在設計時，除了注重異材質的搭配，還會為其規劃多種機能空間，烘托對方品味同時滿足家居需求。」 富有絕佳美感的兄弟二人，不僅以細膩多元的精美設計擄獲一眾屋主目光，面對老屋特有的各類結構問題，處理起來也絲毫不馬虎。其中，崢嶸設計尤其重視屋況評估的地基、梁柱與承重牆體穩定測試，往往會主動替客戶介紹經驗豐富的專業工程團隊，便於設計師們依據檢測結果制定相對應的補強方案，「此外，工程期間我們也有專門的監工小組，可即時回報、應變施工現場的臨時狀況，確保施作品質及房屋的安全耐久性。」 經過多年歷練，廖崢、廖嶸總監早已整理出自己一套老屋翻新的重點和程序，以近期完工的家宅作品《La Galerie NO.24》為例，由於中古屋翻修充滿無法預期的事件，接手此案後他們即為每個設計階段備妥考量成本、時間與美觀的多種備案，「加上定期且周詳的會議，讓屋主掌握各區理念、翻新進度，如碰上突發狀況，也能根據自身所需挑選最合適的方案。」藉由此般嚴實的安排，團隊完美實現了業主的夢想屋邸，更增強客戶對品牌的信任感。 （圖）崢嶸設計作品《沉萃衍敘》，屋中採用觸感細膩的手刮木地板、肌理精緻的石紋、木質，令居者視、觸感官得以沉浸於質樸沉穩的基調中，進而感受人與家宅間的互動及溫度。 迎納嶄新潮流 一改老屋面貌 活用往昔經驗之餘，廖崢、廖嶸總監不忘引入現今備受全球矚目的AI科技，於提案時創建3D模型與模擬場景，更可因應屋主的想法隨時生成全新圖面、展示不同設計效果，方便對方揀選中意方案，提升翻新過程的流暢度。 兩人隨後舉例，過去崢嶸曾承接一棟透天宅翻新案，屋況評估時發現有瓦斯管線破裂、內部空間配置不佳等問題，甚至有寵物宅、啟用封閉電梯井、改格局等需求，涉及多類工種和機能整合的專業技術， 對團隊是一項艱鉅的挑戰，「我們便分成室設和工程兩組同時進行，其中設計組就是應用 AI 智能提高出圖效率，利於設計師跟施工團隊、業主們協調，最終才得以如期竣工。」 （圖）崢嶸設計作品《木白賦格》，設計師考量家中飼有三隻貓咪，選用超耐磨地坪及防貓抓片簾，加強空間耐久性，並於客餐廳過道處打造木質的貓咪空中步道，創造輕盈自然的溫馨景緻。 導入智能科技 邁向美好未來 AI智能的變遷日新月異，相關議題的討論聲量也居高不下；憑藉過往的科技業背景，廖崢、廖嶸總監早有預感此潮流的影響，提早將其引入品牌作為工作輔助，「無論是處理日常瑣碎、重複性高的作業，以及方才訪談中提到的快速生成圖像、提案模擬，都可說是AI應用的基本。」總監們侃談道：「AI的優勢在於迅速蒐羅、統整大量資料，人們可專注於吸收新資訊上，且它也能呈現不同材料、工藝技法的特性質感，令設計師們探索多樣風格、建材選搭的可能性，拓展自身視野。」 此外，為了充分發揮AI科技的價值，崢嶸公司設計自家的協作平台，讓旗下設計師可即時發布各自的AI知識、創意及概念，供他人參考、反饋，促進團隊相互學習交流、激盪創想的同時，也讓成員間的關係更加緊密，造就團結正向的良好工作環境。 兩位總監積極面對人工智慧的原因，不單是因為過往背景，對他們來說，AI是一種挑戰，更是設計領域、乃至各業界的一次革命，「這樣的革新提供了強大的工具，使我們能最大限度地將時間投入設計發想中。」他們表示，崢嶸一向強調著重創意的意象式設計、和傾聽客戶想望的人本服務，在AI技術的加持下，設計師可投入更多時間發掘靈感、與顧客互動，從而創造貼合屋主們理想的卓越作品。 「我們不僅接受科技，更積極擁抱它，因為它能提升我們的創造力和效率！」崢嶸設計 廖崢、廖嶸 設計師 與時共進，靈活運用AI智能的各項優處，持續精進團隊美感、巧玩多元設計，回應多方業主寄予的厚望，賦予新舊屋宅細緻亮眼、安全雋永的生命，伴隨人們邁向未來的無數美滿生活。 崢嶸設計 公司簡介取「崢嶸」之名，藉山岳高聳巍然的形象，體現不凡氣勢與才能。崢嶸設計，對美感的表述滿懷熱情，以積累多年的專業底蘊，精準劃設商空比例，感性勾勒家宅意象，形塑斑斕光彩的空間樣貌，演繹觸動人心的夢想寓所。 設計理念在理想與現實的交會下，激盪出嶄新創作思維，鋪展鮮明色彩、符號，加以融會自然肌理，完美將藝術融入作品當中，我們透過哲學視角及細膩手法，悉心描繪珍貴的設計藍圖，挹注人文雅韻於場域之中，溫暖純粹的生活景象油然而生。 得獎紀錄2024 美國 TITAN Property Awards - Gold《山嵐晨光》2024 美國 MUSE Design Awards - Gold《木白賦格》- Silver《沉萃衍敘》2024 德國 iF設計大獎 - Winner《沉萃衍敘》2023 美國 International Design Awards - Honorable Mention《山嵐晨光》2023 英國 Outstanding Property Award London - Winner《沉萃衍敘》2023 中國 APDC亞太室內設計菁英邀請賽 - 辦公空間類 Winner《樸石蘊光》2023 法國 Novum Design Award - Golden《墨白‧縱橫》2023 美國 MUSE Design Awards - Silver《排雲之境》《樸石蘊光》2022 英國 LICC - Official Selection《墨白・縱橫》2022 韓國 Asia Design Prize - Finalist《排雲之境》2022 杜拜 國際專業室內設計大賽 - 銅獎《樸石蘊光》2022 美國 International Design Awards - Honorable Mention《排雲之境》2022 英國 Outstanding Property Award London - Winner《排雲之境》《墨白・縱橫》 更多崢嶸優秀作品請看官網： http://cj-housedesign.com OPEN Design動能開啟傳媒：https://www.openworld.tv/
