TCL Raises the Bar of Air Conditioning Technology with Next-Gen TCL FreshIN+ that Truly 'Breathes'

Ground-breaking two-way fresh air replacement system results in cleaner, healthier air for all HONG KONG, April 21, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- TCL, a leading consumer electronics brand, today introduces its latest breakthrough technology which aims to help consumers live smarter, more convenient and healthier lives, in the form of its first 'breathing' air conditioning technology – TCL FreshIN+ 2.0. When it comes to household appliances, air conditioning units are particularly important in regard to maintaining good health. TCL's mission to give consumers access to a healthier air circulation within the home has led to the development of cutting-edge technology which not only purifies air coming in but expels any poor-quality air from the inside out - the same way lungs inhale oxygen and exhale harmful carbon dioxide. With this industry first, two-way fresh air replacement system, the TCL FreshIN+ Technology 2.0 effectively 'breathes' in a similar way to the human body. Breathing in pure air is vital for good health. Respiratory issues can be affected by air that becomes stale and depleted of oxygen from leaving windows and doors closed for long periods of time. As the TCL FreshIN+ 2.0 not only supplies oxygen rich air from the outdoors, but also discharges polluted air, the only air being circulated internally is always fresh and clean. TCL FreshIN+ 2.0 is able to powerfully circulate a large fresh air volume of 60 cubic meters/h and exhaust air volume of 30 cubic meters/h, meaning just one AC unit has the capacity to ventilate even large room spaces. Four Specialised Modes for Every Environmental Need The TCL FreshIN+ Technology 2.0 allows for switching easily between four modes responding to the consumers varying household requirements. Breathing System first exhausts and then inhales, rejecting stale, odorous air first before taking in fresh air from outside. This can be especially vital during months of high humidity, as the it is also able to firstly expel any excess moisture from the air indoors, before intaking air from the outside, enabling the technology to purify the outdoor air and maintain a consistent level of humidity and temperature for optimum comfort. The Exhaust Mode quickly removes odours and the presence of harmful gases such as formaldehyde, which is particularly useful following the decoration of new houses and for quickly expelling potent smells emitted from household garbage and kitchen waste. In traditional one-way fresh air systems, odours can only be diluted and not completely discharged, meaning the TCL FreshIN+ 2.0 is superior for solving these issues. For those who are prone to allergies, or for infants who are particularly sensitive to irritants that might be found in the air, the Fresh Air Mode allows for a constant supply of oxygen rich air to be circulating, even whilst the windows closed. Finally, the Purification Mode helps to eliminate any harmful effects of pollution coming in from the outside. The TCL FreshIN+ Technology 2.0's internal circulation effectively expels fine particle matter (PM2.5) dust and bacteria, keeping the air quality inside your home at a healthy level. Stay tuned for more updates on the next generation of AC products, equipped with TCL FreshIN+ Technology 2.0. * Technological functionality and availability may differ between countries/regions About TCL Electronics TCL Electronics (1070.HK) is a fast-growing consumer electronics company and a leader in the global television industry. Founded in 1981, it now operates in more than 160 markets around the world. TCL specializes in the research, development, and manufacturing of consumer electronics products ranging from TVs, audio, and smart home appliances. Visit the TCL website at https://www.tcl.com.

CompAir Provides Maintenance Solutions Helping Manufacturers to Avoid Unnecessary Repair Bills at a Time of Rising Energy Prices

MELBOURNE, Australia, April 17, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- CompAir, a global provider of extensive range of reliable, energy efficient compressors, dryers and accessories, is working with its customers as they navigate the current geopolitical and economic challenges. Through its network of locally based, factory-trained service engineers, the company provides comprehensive proactive and predictive maintenance, helping manufacturers to keep equipment operating at peak performance, and avoiding unnecessary repair bills at a time of rising energy prices. As energy prices continue to soar across Australia, operators may be tempted to delay the recommended maintenance intervals and routine service on compressed air systems in order to save cost. However, this can be an expensive mistake says Gary Spence, Service Operations Leader from CompAir. V-belts, separator cartridges, air filters, filter mats, coolants and lubricants as well as operating fluids are just a few examples where improper or deferred maintenance of components can have serious consequences. This can include decreasing separation rates, increasing lubricant consumption, damage to bearings or increased material wear or, in worst case scenarios, irreparable damage to the compressor block itself. As part of its 10% Taskforce Campaign, the British Compressed Air Society – the UK's trade association for the compressed air and vacuum industry - discusses the importance of maintenance in helping to reduce the electricity consumption of compressed air systems and avoiding unnecessary energy wastage. It states that "where rising energy costs are a concern, it makes good sense to ensure (the) system is operating efficiently – and an effective compressed air maintenance regime can help to lower costs. "Maintaining (the) system in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended service intervals is essential; not only to ensure long life and reliable operation, but to help prioritise energy performance. Using genuine spare parts, fitted by an authorised service agent will lower repair costs, minimise downtime and improve energy efficiency."[1] Elsewhere in Europe, in its guideline 'Compressed air systems - safe and economical operation', the VDMA[2] - the largest network organisation of German machine builders - highlights the responsibility of individual companies in the safe operation of compressed air systems. Regarding stationary compressors, it states that part of this responsibility is, among other things, the selection of a reputable service company, which should make appropriate maintenance recommendations as soon as a compressed air system is delivered and commissioned. Manufacturers such as CompAir, that among other consideration, a dirty air filter increases the differential pressure, which in turn leads to increased power consumption - and ultimately has a direct impact on the site's overall electricity bill. Both BCAS and the VDMA experts also point out that care must be taken to use high-quality spare parts and components that comply with the manufacturer's specifications in order to mitigate the risks of equipment downtime. Changes to work equipment or practices may require a revision of the risk assessment, making the case for adhering to the recommended maintenance cycles, even in economically volatile times stronger still. [1] https://taskforce10.bcas.org.uk [2] https://www.vdma.org/en/compressors-compressed-air-vacuum-technology About CompAir With over 200 years of engineering excellence, CompAir offers an extensive range of reliable, energy efficient compressors, dryers and accessories to suit all applications. An extensive network of dedicated CompAir sales companies and distributors around the world provide global expertise with a truly local service, ensuring CompAir's advanced compressor technology is backed up with the right support. CompAir has consistently been at the forefront of the compressed air market, developing some of the most energy efficient and sustainable compressors available today, helping customers to achieve or surpass their environmental targets.
