台美產業科技協會(TAITA Silicon Valley)於10月12日假聖克拉拉矽谷萬豪三角洲酒店(Delta Hotels by Marriott Santa Clara Silicon Valley)，舉行第15屆UTBEF：美台生物醫學工程論壇(The 15th UTBEF: US-Taiwan Biomedical Engineering Forum)。本次活動由國科會主導，舊金山灣區和台灣的生物技術人工智慧專家們聚焦分享實務應用，超過1000位以上貴賓共襄盛舉。筑波醫電受邀於活動支援防疫雙星「AI雙眼龍熱像儀與O-Ring淨手機」，向貴賓展示AI技術成果。 生物技術和醫療照護如何應用AI人工智慧？今年配合「精準健康戰略產業」政策，並促進臺灣生醫產業與美國矽谷專家交流，期望藉由此平臺為醫學和工程跨領域連結。主題以「AI x Healthcare」切入探討，針對轉譯醫學、精準醫療與智慧醫院提出見解。本屆UTBEF有三個領域共18位專家(包括臨床醫師、數據科學家、與產業生產鏈)參與對談，也有14家醫療新創團隊的攤位，講者包含臺灣各醫學領域醫師專家，及美國哈佛醫學院與印第安納大學醫學院的教授、醫療領域的資料科學專家，討論以機器學習 (Machine Learning, ML)提高新藥開發成功率及個人化治療(Personalized Medicine)的精準度。 本活動合作單位包括舊金山臺灣貿易中心(TAITRA)、僑委會金山灣區華僑文教服務中心、工研院北美公司、國泰銀行、NVIDIA、KARIUS與BOARDSIM等。筑波醫電已參與2022 TAITA矽谷年會、雙十國慶晚宴等活動防疫，本次受邀於論壇活動展示分享AI防疫方案，確保活動順利進行，亦讓貴賓親自體驗。 筑波醫電AI堅強研發團隊提供符合客戶需求的解決產品，包含防疫及智慧醫院方案。AI雙眼龍熱像儀以「無接觸式、精準、高規格」為優勢，提供All in one整合功能，將體溫量測結合、口罩辨識、FaceMe®人臉辨識技術，運用在醫院、大型半導體科技公司、工廠的差勤管理。O-Ring手部消毒機則利用紅外線偵測專利技術，低耗能且防傾倒。 筑波醫電AI技術亦已用於輔助醫學病理影像判讀、藥品辨識、物件追蹤、半導體製程材料測試等，與國內各大學研單位進行研究計畫。筑波醫電駐美代表康偉忠表示，因應未來遠距醫療趨勢，公司亦已開發Uniiform智慧手寫輔助系統、愛多芬ECG心電圖貼片，適用於麻醉科、眼科、牙科等手寫病歷電子化及即時資料上傳儲存，讓世界看見在台的AI高科技，促進產業合作。
台美產業科技協會(TAITA Silicon Valley)於09月10日假萬豪酒店弗里蒙特矽谷店(Fremont Marriott Silicon Valley)，舉行111年年會，超過200位以上的產業代表共襄盛舉。筑波醫電受邀於當日晚宴支援防疫雙星「AI雙眼龍熱像儀與O-Ring淨手機」於出入口，向現場貴賓展示AI技術應用成果。 台美產業科技協會主要為促進美國尤其是矽谷和台灣工業、科學領域的合作及技術開發投資。進入後疫情時代，企業如何在與病毒共存的前提下維持運營、創造新商機是寶貴的交流課題。本次年會以「COVID後工業自動化的新商機(New Business Opportunities in Industrial Automation After COVID)」為主題，邀請各科技公司分享專家見解，舊金山台北經濟文化辦事處處長賴銘琪亦受邀出席，本活動由工研院、美超微電腦、義隆電子、中華航空、長榮航空等大型貴賓贊助蒞臨。 筑波醫電自疫情升溫以來，AI堅強研發團隊提供符合客戶需求的技術，包含防疫及遠距醫療方案。AI雙眼龍熱像儀以「無接觸式、精準、高規格」為優勢，提供All in one整合功能如：體溫量測、異常溫度警示、口罩辨識。特別結合FaceMe®人臉辨識技術，運用在大型半導體科技公司、工廠的差勤管理，更有人流計次與進出管控功能。O-Ring手部消毒機則利用紅外線偵測專利技術，精準感應手部噴灑，低耗能且防傾倒。 後疫情時代遠距商機大爆發，商業模式聚焦在AI、AIoT、零接觸、5G等跨域應用。晚宴邀請國立臺灣大學資訊工程學系林軒田教授分享「How will AI Accelerate after COVID: Machine Learning for Modern Artificial Intelligence」，可見AI的角色不可或缺，筑波醫電的防疫產品已推廣外銷至美國、夏威夷、日本、東南亞、立陶宛等，在外貿協會的肯定下獲矽谷台美工業技術協會 (TAITA-SV)邀請支援晚宴防疫，展示AI高科技，非常榮幸與矽谷和各美國企業交流。筑波醫電駐美代表康偉忠表示，藉此機會能讓世界看見在台的AI高科技成果，促進美台產業合作提升國際能見度。
On October 18th, 2022, TAITA Silicon Valley holds the 15th UTBEF: US-Taiwan Biomedical Engineering Forum at Delta Hotels by Marriott Santa Clara Silicon Valley. The National Science and Technology Council organizes an event for AI biotechnology experts from the San Francisco Bay Area and Taiwan practical sharing. More than 1000 VIP representatives join the event. Taiwan ACE Biotek receives a special invitation to display the AI technology application in antiCOVID-19 prevention. The products are Wallie Screen AI Rapid Temperature Screening System and O-Ring Automatic Hand Sanitizer Dispenser set at the entrance. How is AI being used in the biotech and healthcare industry? In line with the policy of "Precision Medicine Industry Strategy" and promoting the interaction between Taiwan and the US Silicon biomedical engineering professionals, this forum is a platform that provides cross-disciplinary opinions exchanges. 15th UTBEF invites 18 experts from three academic areas: clinicians, data scientists, and production chain representatives to participate in the "AI x Healthcare" topic and share perspectives in translational medicine, precision medicine, and smart hospitals. Also, the event sets 14 booths for Taiwan's new startup teams to exhibit their technology. The speakers include Taiwanese physicians, Harvard Medical School, Indiana University professors, and data scientists. They discuss using machine learning (ML) to enhance the success rate of new drug development and the accuracy of personalized medical treatment. The conference is co-sponsored by worldwide institutions such as Taiwan Trade Center San Francisco (TAITRA), Overseas Community Affairs Council, Republic of China (Taiwan), Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI International), Cathay Bank, NVIDIA, KARIUS, and BOARDSIM, etc. ACE Biotek joined the 2022 TAITA Silicon Valley Annual Conference and the Taiwan National Day Banquet activity to support epidemic prevention. Based on positive customer feedback, TAITA invites ACE Biotek to participate in the forum to demonstrate the AI epidemic prevention technology. Meanwhile, it provides the opportunity for customer experiences. The products digitize medical records, especially for anesthesiology, ophthalmology, dentistry, etc. ACE Biotek's AI technology can enhance Taiwan's technology awareness and boost industry cooperation.
