It was as nail-biting a finish as one could ever have with close, competitive racing. It was at around 0315hrs that Happy Go edged in front and finally at 05hr20m53s, <span class="xn-person">Nie Hua's</span> <i>Happy Go</i> crossed the finish line to claim Line Honours, shaving more than 20 hours off their elapsed time from 2023.</p>  <p>Skipper <span class="xn-person">Jono Rankine</span> said &quot;The battle with <i>Centennial V</i> was close the whole race.&nbsp; We were aware of them the whole way along the racecourse. We were always checking to see who was close to the finish line and then obviously right at the end we could see them right the way through, firstly on AIS and seeing their lights at night. It was pretty exciting and there were a few lead changes. One moment they were ahead, another moment we were ahead and then the next moment we were sitting in a wind hole and not moving and they were ghosting past us. Yeah, it was exciting and a fun way to win the race.&quot;&nbsp;</p>  <p>Jono explained that one of biggest tactical decisions was made ahead of the race when they dropped four people from the crew, &quot;it made the boat a lot lighter and easier to sail and it definitely made the race more challenging. We were expecting the race to be a lot longer but we knew it was going to be light winds and not super demanding so we knew we could handle it with nine people. &quot;&nbsp;</p>  <p><span class="xn-person">Ernesto Echauz's</span> <i>Standard Insurance Centennial V</i> finished only five minutes behind <i>Happy Go</i>. Ernesto said &quot;This was the most exciting Rolex China Sea Race that I have ever experienced. It was so exciting from the start on the first day and all the way up to the finish. <i>Happy Go</i> did very well. What was so nice was that we were competing with each other, especially on the last day up to the end. I am very proud of my team and proud of the other competitors as they are very competitive.&quot; Shortly after, and showing his sportsmanship, Ernesto went to visit <i>Happy Go</i> to congratulate them on their win.</p>  <p>With the Line Honours settled and as the rest of the fleet converges on Subic Bay, all eyes are on who will take IRC Overall. A thrilling battle is developing for the IRC Overall leaderboard with boats swapping positions often. <i>Seawolf, Zesst, A Plastic Ocean</i> and <i>Whiskey Jack</i> have all to play for.       <description><![CDATA[<p><span class="legendSpanClass"><span class="xn-location">HONG KONG</span></span>, <span class="legendSpanClass"><span class="xn-chron">March 31, 2024</span></span> /PRNewswire/ --&nbsp;For the first time in 14 years, the Line Honours winner of the Rolex China Sea Race has 'done the double' and picked up the IRC Overall as well!&nbsp;</p>  <p>After a well fought 'chase and overtake' competition from the start till the finish, <i>Happy Go</i> finished the Race on 30 March at 05hr20m53s, a mere five minutes ahead of their rival all along the way down to Subic Bay, <i>Standard Insurance Centennial V</i>.</p>  <p>On her corrected time, of 2days 18hours 0mins 53 seconds, none of other IRC boats competing can beat her time in this 565 nautical mile race.</p>  <p><span class="xn-person">Nie Hua</span> and crew lifted both the China Sea Trophy and Sunday Telegraph Trophy at the prizegiving ceremony held at the Subic Bay Yacht Club.&nbsp; <span class="xn-person">Nie Hua</span> was also presented with two Rolex timepieces.&nbsp; The last time a boat achieved the double win was in 2010 when <span class="xn-person">Neil Pryde</span> competed with his boat <i>HiFi</i>.</p>  <p><span class="xn-person">Nie Hua</span> was ecstatic about taking both big prizes in their only their second entry into the Rolex China Sea Race, saying &quot;We have made a lot of preparations ahead of the Race but getting Line Honours and the IRC Overall title is completely out of my expectations!&nbsp; I would like to give a huge applause to the crew working on board.&nbsp; I am absolutely thrilled and so thankful. <p>HAPPY GO鼎鼎聯合行銷公司總經理梁錦琳為論壇活動引言時表示，疫後全球通膨情況已成為新常態，根據GO SURVEY調查顯示，超過7成消費者表示每月的支出明顯持續增加，消費者對荷包縮水大有感，消費行為和消費取向也呈現跨世代的差異，比方寬鬆世代可支配所得較低但在消費時注重個人自我實現，青壯年族群發展斜槓人生，中高齡世代追求心理價值等，了解不同世代並找到消費者心中「消費價值」和「心理價值」的平衡點，才能抓住顧客。透過今年的消費趨勢論壇，希望為品牌和運營夥伴梳理商務經營的新策略，透過龐大的數據資料庫掌握消費者興趣及偏好，為品牌精準找到顧客，在瞬息變化的市場環境中保持關鍵行銷競爭力。</p>
<p>GO SURVEY最新消費者白皮書報告指出，疫後民眾更關注健康重要性，在「身體與心靈」層面的滿足已成為跨世代族群共同追求的議題。因此在未來一年消費支配的取捨下，消費者傾向縮減日常生活的需求，增加「營養保健食品」、「旅遊」、「節日慶祝和親友聚會」等健康、心理層面的消費。GO SURVEY顧客洞察部總監呂宛蓁表示，以消費者購物取向分析，觀察到民眾在消費時理性因素佔6成7的，注重「商品品質」、「價格」及「功能」；感性因素則占3成3，包含「服務」、「品牌信任度」和「購物體驗」是買單與否的關鍵。整體而言，隨著大環境及心靈價值的轉變，將直接影響消費者的購物關鍵，應調整策略以更貼近消費者的期望，提供更契合當前需求的產品和服務。</p>
<p>在多元化的市場變化下，各品牌更需透過分眾市場策略，掌握不同年齡層價值觀需求，GO SURVEY針對產品及行銷面深入分析，在產品面上20、30世代族群對於價格、免費試用有感；40及50以上世代則追求商品品質，以及特別關注ESG永續循環的服務；在行銷層面上20、30世代偏好快閃店、市集及限時特賣；40及50以上世代對於定期推播活動則較有興趣，在資訊量龐大的市場環境下，品牌應掌握顧客性別、年齡、地區等輪廓，從世代價值觀的差異化找尋突破口，才能精準觸及目標客群。</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p><span class="legendSpanClass"><span class="xn-location">HONG KONG</span></span>, <span class="legendSpanClass"><span class="xn-chron">April 4, 2023</span></span> /PRNewswire/ -- Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club <span id="spanHghlt55cc">yesterday</span> (3 April) announced the much-anticipated return of the Rolex China Sea Race to <span class="xn-location">Hong Kong's</span> iconic <span class="xn-person">Victoria Harbour</span> after 5 years of absence. 19 boats will be on the start line at <span class="xn-chron">11:20am</span> on <span class="xn-chron">5 April 2023</span> for the Rolex China Sea Race 2023 and the Race takes competitors 565-nautical miles (1,046 kilometers) across the South China Sea to Subic Bay in <span class="xn-location">the Philippines</span>, considered a real test of sailing skill, energy, persistence and team spirit.</p>  <p>First held in 1962, this year marks the 61st anniversary of this offshore classic, the oldest blue water race in <span class="xn-location">Asia</span>. The biennial <span class="xn-person">China Sea Race</span> has been supported by Rolex since 2008 when it became Title Sponsor. The 565nm Category 1 Offshore Race is run under the auspices of Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC). As a committed partner of the most prestigious yacht clubs, institutions and regattas in the world, Rolex shares the highest standards of excellence with the custodians of yachting's finest spirit.</p>  <p>Sailors are drawn to the Race's elevated standing as well as the stringent examination of skill and endeavor it presents, its underlying Corinthian spirit and traditions. Three TP52 grand prix racing yachts will be pushing the limits in what is expected to be close racing in this year's Rolex China Sea Race. This highly competitive group features international entrant <i>Standard Insurance Centennial 3</i> as well as local teams <i>Rampage 88</i> and <i>Happy Go</i>. TP52 is famous for its fast speed and high performance. Former <span class="xn-location">Hong Kong</span> team sailors Owen WONG and LAW Yat Fung Dominic together with their former Hong Kong Team Sailing Coach <span class="xn-person">Jono Rankine</span> have regrouped as a 'dream team' for the first time since their last race at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games to be part of the crew on <i>Happy Go</i>. With good communications already in place between the core team for so many years, the team is confident to do well in the Race .</p>  <p><span class="xn-person">Ernesto Echauz's</span> <span class="xn-person">Rachel Pugh</span> 75 <i>Centennial 5</i>, will be taking part in the boat's first Rolex China Sea Race, however <span class="xn-person">Ernesto Echauz</span> is no stranger to this flagship offshore race, having participated in nine editions of the race and having his name twice engraved on the China Sea Race Trophy (1998 and 2008). <span class="xn-person">Ernesto Echauz</span> is President of the Philippine Sailing Association and has been actively supporting sailing since 1994 with his Centennial Sailing Team and participated in numerous international offshore races. He said at the press conference that it was great to have the Rolex China Sea Race back after the pandemic. The Rolex China Sea Race is particularly important to sailors in <span class="xn-location">the Philippines</span> because this Race is on most of the sailors' bucket list.</p>  <p>In terms of Multihull, Meitatsu Fukumoto and <span class="xn-person">Seng Huang Lee's</span> ORMA 60 sailing&nbsp;trimarans SHK Scallywag Fuku is also set to join their first Rolex China Sea Race. Skipper <span class="xn-person">David Witt</span>, who is an internationally renowned offshore sailor, said in the press conference that it would be quite challenging for<span id="spanHghltbccd">&nbsp;him</span> and his crew to beat the Rolex China Sea Race multihull race record of 38h <span class="xn-money">30m</span> 07s set in 2018 by <span class="xn-person">Karl Kwok</span> on his MOD Beau Geste.</p>  <p><span class="xn-person">Albert Altura</span> from <span class="xn-location">Philippines</span> will be taking part in his second Rolex China Sea Race on board his Beneteau First 40 CR <i>Hurricane Hunter</i>. His first took part in the Race as a 19-year-old in 1986 racing on <i>Sunset Strip</i> which placed 4th Overall in the IOR division and after that experience he set a personal goal to return to the event as owner/skipper. Altura said that he was given a Rolex Submariner purchased by his father when he turned 25 years old.
