Our first Tech Day shows how we are Breaking New Ground in Agriculture

CNH Industrial is making great strides in delivering on its Ag Tech roadmap. We are demonstrating achieved progress in the Precision Technology space at a two-day event for financial, investor and media communities. It is taking place in Phoenix, Arizona, USA today (December 7) and tomorrow (December 8). It will showcase how we are developing and commercializing industry-leading products in automation, autonomy, digital, alternative fuels and electrification to benefit our customers, the world’s farmers, and the Earth.

“Our Tech Day will show the world how CNH Industrial is leveraging our great iron to develop and deploy technology that simplifies and enhances operations; provides insightful data; and utilizes alternative power solutions – all to sustainably advance farming,” says Scott W. CNH Industrial’s full year 2022 Agriculture net sales are expected to include an estimated $900 million contribution coming exclusively from Precision Technology components. We forecast a 10 - 15% annual growth rate across the next two to three years and are aggressively pursuing an estimated $1 billion in 2023 net sales contribution from Precision Technology components. Precision Technology components include technology contained in wholegoods, retrofit components, and Raven third-party sales.

Telling the story, showing the results
The morning will see CNH Industrial’s leaders and technical experts review our Ag Tech innovations with a specific focus on Precision Technology through Automation, Autonomy and Connected Platform technologies. Industry firsts and new technology developments – both at commercial and concept stage – will also be presented. A discussion on the Business Impact of Ag Tech will outline how Precision Technology drives value for our customers, business, R&D and talent. Then we will go out in the field and show our audience these technologies in action – ready for farmers to put to work across the full farming cycle.

New technology helps farmers reach next level productivity and profitability

CNH Industrial debuted its latest automation and autonomy solutions at its Tech Day in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. New Driverless Tillage and Driver Assist Harvest solutions from Raven, and Baler Automation from Case IH and New Holland, deliver automation and autonomous equipment enhancements. They all help solve farming’s biggest challenges: to increase productivity and to do more with less resources, more sustainably. These latest technology developments form part of our Ag Tech roadmap.

Driver Assist Harvest Solution
This new automation technology for the tractor platform leverages our Case IH brand’s harvest technology with Raven Autonomy integration. It provides a coordinated control feature that allows for the Driver Assist Harvest Solution to chart the path and speed of the tractor pulling the grain cart alongside a combine harvester during an ‘unload on the go’ operation.

The Driver Assist Harvest Solutions keeps the tractor perfectly in sync with the combine harvester when unloading grain – giving the combine operator seamless control over the unloading process. This makes the full operation more efficient, with less grain spillage in the process. Our new technology helps remedy the lack of skilled labor by simplifying the task. It also provides a better user experience with less operator fatigue. This solution will be made commercially available for both Case IH and New Holland brands.

Driverless Tillage Solution
The driverless tillage solution features an advanced Perception System and Remote Command & Control experience from Raven Autonomy, which functions with no operator in the cab. The machine can be operated remotely from a mobile tablet device. The operator can plan and execute precise, automated missions with consistent agronomic results monitored from anywhere.  

This development combines the Case IH tractor and tillage platform with Raven autonomy to deliver this autonomous tillage solution. The Raven Autonomy technology platform provides a flexible, scalable tech stack to the iron. This solution also leverages existing Case IH tillage automation for ultimate agronomic and machine control of the implement. The result is increased productivity with consistent agronomic performance and richer data insights.

Case IH and New Holland’s significant automation developments are continuing to accelerate with the ongoing integration of Raven.

Baling Automation
Industry-first Baler Automation was also unveiled on New Holland large square balers, featuring new technology that uses a LiDAR sensor to that scan the windrow in front of the tractor for density, volume and direction. The tractor and baler then use this input to automatically control steering, forward speed and baler settings to ensure the baler follows the windrow precisely for accurate crop feeding. The result? Optimized bale shape, increased productivity, operator comfort and reduced fuel consumption. Case IH will also offer the baling automation feature.

Automation and Autonomy technology milestones in the field
We have a proven track record of existing world class technologies on our agriculture equipment. Earlier this year at the Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa, USA, Case IH and Raven introduced the agriculture industry’s first autonomous spreader, the Case IH Trident™ 5550 applicator with Raven Autonomy™ (Driverless Spreading Solution). Meanwhile both New Holland and Case IH combines offer award-winning, best-in-class combine automation, and both Case IH Patriot and New Holland Guardian sprayers that come equipped with application control automation.

Background
Olson Seed Service LLC in Perry, Iowa provides AG consulting and Pioneer Seeds and nutrients to local farmers. The company has a large investment in equipment and supplies that it has stored inside its facility along with AG equipment and vehicles parked outside. Theft in rural Iowa has risen 60 percent over the past five years, causing concern for companies such as Olson Seed Service. Many rural businesses do not have technology-based solutions driving their day-to-day operations, so finding a video surveillance system that is effective yet easy to manage in these challenging times has become crucial.

Challenge
Businesses in such rural communities that are not used to the necessity of such video surveillance in the past are quickly becoming aware that these security measures are becoming vital, no matter the size and scope of the operation itself. Basic surveillance equipment, such as NVRs (network video recorders) and even computer hard drives are still popular choices for security professionals, but are becoming dated and harder to manage in today's world. The cost of continually maintaining and even replacing these types of equipment is never ending, and remote monitoring and video retrieval is either difficult or not possible in many cases, especially in real time.

GDIN Opens Applications for Global AI & Digital Transformation PoC Program, Inviting Overseas Organizations

New round builds on 2025 results and supports real-world pilot projects with Korean tech companies

SEOUL, South Korea, Feb. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Global Digital Innovation Network (GDIN), a non-profit foundation under South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT, has officially opened applications for a new round of its AI & Digital Transformation Global PoC (Proof of Concept) Support Program, calling on overseas organizations to participate in joint pilot projects with innovative Korean technology companies.

Launched in 2025, the program was created to help international organizations overcome adoption barriers by validating AI and digital transformation solutions in real operational environments before full-scale deployment. Through structured PoC projects, participants can assess technical feasibility, business impact, and scalability while minimizing upfront investment and implementation risk.

The program supports PoC collaborations in four priority sectors where demand for digital transformation is accelerating globally:

• Edu-Tech – digital learning platforms, workforce upskilling, AI-based assessment
• Ag-Tech – smart farming, livestock monitoring, climate and food-tech solutions
• Digital Healthcare – AI diagnostics, digital care systems, smart medical devices
• Digital Manufacturing – process optimization, automation, predictive maintenance

Overseas organizations—including enterprises, public institutions, hospitals, universities, and industry associations—are invited to submit PoC proposals based on their specific operational challenges. GDIN evaluates project feasibility and impact, then matches selected proposals with Korean technology companies capable of delivering customized AI and digital solutions. GDIN also provides end-to-end coordination and technical support throughout the PoC process.

The program has already proven its effectiveness. In its first year, GDIN supported PoC projects across Europe, Southeast Asia, and Latin America, achieving a 100 percent PoC contract completion rate and exceeding original targets for pilot project development. Several projects progressed into discussions on commercialization, procurement, or long-term deployment, demonstrating the program's role as a practical bridge from pilot validation to market adoption.

With this new round, GDIN aims to further expand its global partner network and facilitate demand-driven innovation by directly connecting overseas organizations with Korea's advanced AI and digital transformation capabilities.

"Many organizations are interested in AI, but remain cautious about real-world integration and return on investment," said Jongkap Kim, CEO of GDIN. "This PoC Support program allows global partners to test solutions in their own environments first, supported by proven Korean innovators. The Company has today announced that it has, via its wholly owned subsidiary, SunMirror Luxembourg S.A. ("SM S.A."), agreed to acquire Finnish cobalt company Latitude 66 Cobalt Oy ("Latitude 66") with focus on exploration and mine development with its business operations located in Finland.

Founded 4 years ago, Latitude 66 is one of the leading explorers of cobalt in Europe and controls the largest exploration tenement package of any single company in Finland, currently in excess of 9,000 square kilometres. Latitude 66's most advanced mine development project is the fourth largest known cobalt deposit in the European Union ("EU") and the second largest not yet in production. In addition, Latitude 66 has an extensive exploration portfolio with over 100 targets identified for further exploration.

The expected purchase price payable to the Parent will be EUR 45 million, payable in cash on closing, and SM S.A. has agreed to a 2% net smelter royalty on future production. The Board of Directors of SunMirror and the Board of Directors of Latitude 66's parent company Latitude 66 Cobalt Limited ("Parent") have already approved the sale of Latitude 66 to SM S.A. The conditional binding agreement in respect of the acquisition of Latitude 66 contains an alternative completion structure which, subject to satisfaction of certain conditions, provides SM S.A. with the ability to propose a takeover offer of the Parent in accordance with applicable Australian corporations laws. The completion of the acquisition of Latitude 66, or a takeover bid if one is subsequently announced by SM S.A., is subject to completion by SunMirror of a capital raising of EUR 70 million and other customary conditions.

Current resource estimate for Latitude 66's K Camp project according to Mineral resource classification JORC is 16,490 tonnes cobalt and 725,000 oz gold contained. The average grade for cobalt is 0.064%, which is the highest of the five largest known cobalt resources in the EU, and the average gold grade is 2.7g/t. Finland is the largest refiner of cobalt and nickel in Europe and the second largest of cobalt in the world after China, which has a market share of around 80 percent. Furthermore Finland is currently the only country in the EU with mines producing Cobalt today. A fully European supply chain for batteries will significantly reduce CO₂ and other emissions in the manufacturing process of electric vehicles and other batteries. Domestic supply of key battery minerals will significantly reduce strategic and geopolitical risks for European companies.
