The 2025 ITB Asia, Asia’s premier annual travel industry event, will be held from October 15–17 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) will once again lead the Taiwan Pavilion, designed around the ‘Waves of Wonder’ concept to highlight Taiwan’s diverse tourism and MICE resources.

This year, seven industry partners will participate: Edison Travel Service, ILLUME TAIPEI, MyTaiwanTour, LION TRAVEL SERVICE CO., LTD, Leading Taiwan Travel Agency, Welcome Wonder Travel Service, and iMICE Integrated Marketing (Flying Tour), representing travel agencies, hotels, and integrated MICE services, demonstrating the full spectrum of Taiwan’s tourism and convention offerings.

Strengthening Buyer-Exhibitor Engagement Through Group Appointments

To enhance engagement between international buyers and Taiwanese exhibitors, TTA will host a group presentation via the ITB Asia official matchmaking platform. Attendees include travel agencies from Europe and Southeast Asia, multinational incentive travel and conference planners, international hotel and corporate event departments, as well as professional media representatives.

The presentation will highlight Taiwan’s core MICE advantages and government support initiatives, including well-equipped venues, convenient transportation, international conference subsidies, and highly professional services. It will also highlight the island’s tourism marketing themes—“mountains, seas, and island adventures”— reinforcing the island as an ideal destination for international conferences and incentive travel..

Pavilion Design Brings Brand to Life with Interactive Cultural Experience

The Taiwan Pavilion continues the “Waves of Wonder” brand identity, incorporating flowing wave motifs to convey the integration of nature, culture, and technology. A highlight of the pavilion is a live sugar painting demonstration by a Taiwanese artisan, allowing buyers to experience Taiwan’s cultural creativity and craftsmanship firsthand. Such cultural engagement not only attracts visitors but also reinforces Taiwan’s unique image as a tourism and MICE destination.

Strategic International Marketing and Policy Support

In recent years, TTA has actively promoted the “Tourism Brand – Attracting Millions of Visitors” strategy, enhancing Taiwan’s global visibility through overseas trade shows, digital marketing, and the Brand 3.0 identification system. The TTA has also established Tourism and Travel Information Centers (TTICs) in Indonesia, India, Europe, and North America to strengthen local promotion and service capacity.

Building on the successful participation in ITB Asia 2024—which garnered significant attention from international buyers and led to multiple follow-up collaborations—this year’s exhibition represents an important continuation of these strategic efforts.

Expanding Taiwan’s Global Tourism and MICE Presence

Through the ITB Asia platform, TTA aims to deepen collaboration with international buyers across Asia and beyond, further enhancing Taiwan’s position in the global tourism and MICE markets, and encouraging more international travelers and companies to select Taiwan as a preferred destination.
