TAIPEI, June 27, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Taipei Entrepreneurs Hub (TEH), international startup support platform under the Taipei City Government, hosted its signature event Rock'n Taipei at the Global Startup Center in Seoul.

Co-organized with TIPS Town (Tech Incubator Program for Startup), Global Startup Center and the Seoul Business Agency, Rock'n Taipei spotlighted the startup ecosystem synergy between Korea and Taiwan's startup ecosystems. Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation (TWSE), CDIB Capital Innovation Accelerator, and Headline Asia, provided Korean entrepreneurs with a comprehensive understanding of Taiwan's investment landscape.

Doer Ahn, Managing Director of TIPS Town, delivered a keynote highlighting the importance of leveraging technology to solve real-world problems. He also noted a growing interest among Korean startups in expanding into the Taiwanese market.

Katty Huang, from the Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation, emphasized "Taiwan's IPO costs are almost one-tenth of those in Japan, making it a more affordable and efficient gateway for foreign startups seeking access to Asia's capital markets."

Attendees also gained valuable insights from CDIB Capital and Headline Asia, who outlined emerging tech investment trends in Taiwan and discussed their latest portfolio directions.

Several Korean startups — including Packative (AI Smart Packaging), Colosseum(AI Logistics & Fulfillment), Baycon(AI Telecommunications), Marine Drone(AI Ocean Monitoring)— presented their interest in entering the Taiwan market, citing the island's vibrant tech ecosystem and business-friendly environment.

In closing, Leo Wu, Co-Director of TEH, invited Korean startups to sign up for TEH's AI+ Taipei Startup Pitch Contest (https://forms.gle/zeckpeM2pr3k16oHA), with submissions open through June 30th. Six winners will be awarded travel subsidies and receive tailored matchmaking with potential investors and partners during their visit to Taipei.

Rock'n Taipei facilitated valuable exchanges and investing opportunities, significantly enhancing the entrepreneurial landscape for sister cities Taipei and Seoul. This event not only showcased the potential for strong bilateral collaboration but also set a precedent for future cross-border partnerships, promising a vibrant future for startups in both regions.
